To install this download:

1. Download the file by clicking the Download button and saving the file to your hard disk.
2. Double-click the DMQuestSetup.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Database Setup:
DM Quest software functions in conjunction with the Microsoft SQL Server database. A user must have that database running either on a centralized server or their local machine. If you don't have don't have SQL Server running you may install a FREE version provided by Microsoft. Click here for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine(MSDE) setup files. Database Connection:
DM Quest package connects to the data warehouse via ODBC connection that is predefined on the user PC after software installation. You must modify the DMQuest ODBC connection to point to your desired SQL Server data warehouse. To do so click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC) and modify the DMQuest connection under System DSN to point to your MS SQL Server.

Database Registration:
Prior to software use, the DM Quest database must be registered with the SQL Server; this action will install the DMQuest data warehouse and all the underlying tables on the clients' data server. To proceed click Start > All Programs > DM Quest > Build DM Quest Database. Enter administrator username and password and click on the Build DB Batch Button. This action will create a file in your installation folder called MakeDB.bat; double click on that file and it will build a new database for you with all the necessary information to run the DM Quest software package.

Product Registration:
The final step of DM Quest software installation is product registration. You must register the software package in order for it to function.
